Ponta da Piedade is a bizarre group of rock formations along the coastline of Lagos. It is located approximately two kilometres on the southern shore of Lagos and can be easily reached by car.
There is free parking available. From the parking lot, just take a few steps and you will experience the nicest views. A bit further south along the coastline, there are steps that will lead you to the bottom of the cliffs – you cannot really miss it. One piece of advice, even though it all seems a bit touristy, take a boat from there and they will take you on an incredible tour along the coastline that takes approximately 40 minutes at a cost of 20 EUR per person.
It is also a great spot for incredible sunrises – be sure to get up early and be there on time.
