The Silberkarklamm is located at Rössing 16, 8972 Ramsau am Dachstein. There is plenty of parking at the entrance of the klamm, some of it is free and some is to be paid for. There is a ticket booth at the actual start of the klamm where you have to get tickets. The klamm itself is very nice and you are lead through a number of wooden stairs and beautiful landscape. Up to the Silberkar hut at 1.250 metres, you will cover about 200 m altitute. Past the hut you can continue the round path (No. 7) – the second part of the round trip is a rather bumby buisness occasionally very close to the edge and steep. However, it is great fun and you walk through a beautiful scenery.
Once you have more or less completed the course, you walk past the Jausenstation Fliegenpilz, where you can get refreshments and something to eat.
