Times Square as probably one of the most famous locations in New York City is not only a major tourist destination but also a commercial intersection, an entertainment centre and a neighbourhood in the Midtown section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. It stretches from West 42nd Street to West 47th Street. It is brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements and always very busy. Time Square is annually visited by approximately 50 million visitors with 330.000 people passing through it on a daily basis.
