Loutro is a a Greek town in the area of Sfakia on the South coast of the Chania regional unit in west Crete. It lies between Chora Sfakion and Agia Roumeli and forms the exit of the famous Samaria Gorge. There are no cars and the entire town consists probably of 95% tourists and only 5% locals. You can walk from one end to the other in about 3-5 minutes – this is done by just walking across the adjaced taverns and restaurants. The water is clear and you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas for just a few Euros. To reach Loutro, you really have to take a boat from Sfakia.
