There is a beautiful hike on the western shore of Lake Achensee which leads from Pertisau to the Gaisalm – it can only be reached on foot or by boat. Along the route there are a number of lonely bays, where you can cool down on warm summer days. On the way back, you can either walk back to Pertisau on the same track that you came from or you go by boat.
