In today’s world, one can reach virtually any place within a few hours, may it be by using a car, a train, a plane or any other means. One minute you are in your comfortable surroundings, the next you are in a totally different world.

From Frankfurt it takes approximately 2.5 hours by car to travel to Strasbourg, which is located very close to the border between Germany and France.

The French city Strasbourg is the largest city  of the Grand Est region of France and is the the official seat of the European Parliamant.

Strasbourg’s historical centre was classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honour was placed on an entire city.
