Praia de Odeceixe is probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. It is located on the north western coastline approximately 50 kilometres from Lagos. The main beach is fully exposed to the Atlantic and thus offers high waves. Being situated at the mouth of the Rio de Seixe, the location offers also quiet swimming possibilities and is thus ideal for families with young children. There is also the chance of getting onto the cliffs on the northern part of the beach by taking a small path.
